Back in the early 1930’s Albert Ploen bought himself a tractor and began contracting to farmers in the Manawatu. Following various business partnerships over the years, Kerry took over the helm in the early 1970’s.
Then in the late 1980’s a keen young lad with a great work ethic named Peter came to work for Kerry over the summer holidays.
In 1995 Kerry and Peter joined forces with only a handful of tractors, and for 30 years the business has prospered. Along the way Jason Brown joined the business and has added his expertise to the mix.
Kerry is now stepping down to spend more time riding his trike around the country and new blood Tom Welsh is stepping up to fill the gap. The company continues to grow and thrive with a fit for purpose fleet of machinery servicing Manawatu across all aspects of agricultural contracting.
